Day 1: Kathmandu to Paro (By Flight) – Drive to Thimphu

• Scenic flight from Kathmandu to Paro
• Meet Bhutanese guide at Paro International Airport
• Drive to Thimphu (1.5–2 hrs)
• En route stop at Tamchog Lhakhang Iron Bridge
• Visit Buddha Dordenma, one of the largest Buddha statues in the world
• Overnight in Thimphu

Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing

• Visit Memorial Chorten, Folk Heritage Museum
• Explore Changangkha Lhakhang, Takin Preserve
• Visit National Library, Traditional Arts School
• Evening stroll around Thimphu market and clock tower square
• Overnight in Thimphu

Day 3: Thimphu to Punakha (3 hrs drive)

• Drive over Dochula Pass (3,100m) – panoramic Himalayan views
• Stop at 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens
• Visit Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple)
• Explore Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most beautiful fortresses
• Overnight in Punakha

Day 4: Punakha to Paro (4 hrs drive)

• Scenic drive back to Paro
• En route stop for photography and short nature walks
• Visit Rinpung Dzong, a fine example of Bhutanese architecture
• Explore Paro town for local shopping
• Overnight in Paro

Day 5: Paro – Tiger’s Nest Hike

• Early morning hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) (approx. 5 hrs round trip)
• Optional pony ride for partial ascent
• Afternoon rest or optional hot stone bath experience
• Overnight in Paro

Day 6: Paro Local Exploration

• Visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan
• Optional visit to Drukgyel Dzong ruins
• Try archery or Bhutanese dress photography session
• Farewell dinner with cultural program (optional)
• Overnight in Paro

Day 7: Paro to Kathmandu (By Flight)

• Transfer to Paro Airport for flight back to Kathmandu
• Arrival and transfer to hotel or onward departure
• End of the tour
